We do not sell your information. We do not rent it. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers, and there are no ad networks in the app. Your birth details exist to calculate your chart, and nothing else.
SacredSky is an astrology app. To show you your chart, we need details about your birth. This page explains exactly what we collect, why we need it, and what we will never do with it.
Birth details. Your name, date of birth, time of birth and place of birth. These are required to calculate a chart. Without them the app cannot do the one thing it exists to do.
Account details. Your email address, and your phone number if you choose to provide one. These create your account, sign you in, and let us contact you about it.
Purchase details. Whether you have an active subscription and which plan. Payment itself is handled by the App Store or Google Play. We never see your card number.
App usage. Basic technical information such as crashes and errors, so we can fix them.
If you add someone else's chart to compare with your own, you are responsible for having their permission. You can delete any chart you have added at any time, and doing so removes that person's details from our systems.
A small number of services help run the app. They may process your information only to provide their service to us, never for their own purposes: an astrological calculation service, to turn your birth details into chart positions; a cloud provider, for accounts, sign-in and storage; an AI provider, to generate written interpretations; a subscription service, to track whether your subscription is active; and a location lookup service, to find your birth place accurately.
We are not in the business of moving your data anywhere else, and we will not.
You can see the information we hold about you, correct it, export it, or delete it. Deletion is available inside the app under Settings, or by emailing us. When you delete your account, your birth details, saved charts and chart history are permanently removed.
We keep your information for as long as your account is open. When you delete your account we remove it, except where we are legally required to keep a record, such as basic purchase records for tax purposes.
Your information travels over encrypted connections and is stored with providers that encrypt data at rest. No system is perfect, and we will tell you promptly if something goes wrong that affects you.
SacredSky is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us their details, email us and we will remove it.
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date above and let you know in the app.
